Gem Mining with 'the guy' in the mountains of North Carolina. I found lots of beautiful stones including one emerald. It was great fun, and my back hurt for two days afterward, but so worth it.
Attending lots of girls softball games to watch my 11 year old granddaughter play ball. Those girls have improved so much this past year and the games are really exciting.
Gave myself a 'much needed pedicure'. I am making a resolution to do this at least every other week the rest of the summer.
Trimmed all the trees in my yard. This is only part of the branches, when I took this picture I had already hauled two loads to the dump. My trees look great and I was very tired.
I also made many signs for the garage sale we had to raise money for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. Lots of people donated items for us to sell and we raised $100 in just 3 hours of sales. We will do this again in a few weeks with the items that are still being donated.
I have been spending week-ends working my booth at the Flea Market. Last Saturday I so enjoyed watching these two little guys reading books while their mother shopped. They were so cute and so well behaved.
Well that is enough for tonight. I have more to post, so stay tuned for Part II of why I have been so busy. I know you will be waiting, my life is so interesting.....ROFL.
Looks like you have been busy! I love the pedi idea... I need to start doing that :0)
ReplyDeletePhew!!! That's a lot of stuff going on! I love the nails, btw :)
ReplyDeleteYou *have* been very busy! Holy cow--a 60-mile walk?! I didn't realize your event was that long. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Your one busy lady :) I also need to start spending more time on my feet. But with having 6 kids and being busy with baseball I don't spend enough time on myself. Life....
ReplyDeleteHi Keli..looks like you're busy too! I think that's great. I've been IRL busy with the babies and my kids and getting ready for vacation. My nieces and their activities have also kept me busy. Best of all, I've been improving my photography and loving it. Not too shabby a life for a grammie, huh! My best to you! Thanks for stopping by to visit :)
