Update on Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure

If you read my last post, you already know that due to fund raising circumstances I was unable to raise the required $2300 to  participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure 60 mile walk in Boston on July 23-25.  That being said, my daughter-in-law did participate and here are a few pictures from her experience.
**Disclaimer** The quality of these pictures is not good.  They look fine when I view them on my computer, but when I downloaded them to my blog post, not so good.
A little blurry, taken with a phone camera

The back of another walker's shirt (sorry about the poor quality)
Up at 7:30 to walk with his Aunt
That building in the background looks like the designer had to much to drink!
I hope if any of you know anyone that is training for a Susan G. Komen walk that you will support them.  Every $5 adds up.  I raised 62% of my $2300, and was disappointed that I did not reach at least the 80% mark, but there is always next year.  Thank you to all those that donated to my effort, I know the Susan G. Komen Foundation is thrilled to get my 62%.

  1. I'm so sorry you didn't get to walk but I think that was a good compromise so your DIL could.

I love your new template - flowers and buttons are symbols of a good graminator :)
