The "Look"

If you ask any of my children they will tell you I never had to punish them when out in public, all I had to do was give them 'the look'.  There have been many discussions over the years about 'the look', some were funny, some not so funny.  What I can tell you is 'the look' worked for me.  They would stop whatever they might be doing, that they knew was not allowed, and look repentant (obviously they learned to perfect their 'look' also).

That being said, I was reading a blog my daughter does to keep the family up to date on their family and I came across this picture.
It is apparent to me that my littlest grandchild has perfected his 'look' of disapproval.  Of course it also gave me a good laugh.  I love the furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips.  I just love the dimple in his chin too
The Graminator misses you little 'C'.

  2. Everyone in this house knows my "look" and that they better stop what they're doing when they get it! ;) Love your little grandson's look. What a cutie.

  4. I am familiar with the look - sends chills down my spine just thinking about it. That child is adorable even when giving the old stink eye!

  5. Isn't it funny how facial expressions get passed down? What a cutie, even with a furrowed brow.
